The FAA published a policy statement on September 28, 2026 announcing it will cease issuing single-pilot exemptions for certain Cessna CE-500 series aircraft type-certificated for two-pilot operation, effective September 29. The affected variants include the Citation II, Citation V, Citation Ultra, Citation Bravo, Citation Encore, and Citation Encore+.
